Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Inspire young learners and make a difference as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school-based setting. This is a contract opportunity for dedicated professionals with both Special Education and Early Childhood certification, ready to bring their expertise onsite for the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Active South Carolina Teaching License Valid certifications in Special Education and Early Childhood Multi-Categorical endorsement required Experience supporting K-2 students in a self-contained setting, and/or K-8 resource teaching preferred Comfort working in onsite, in-person roles Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Serve as a PCD Teacher within a primary school, providing tailored support in a Multi-Categorical Self-Contained classroom for K-2 students Deliver Early Childhood Resource interventions at the elementary level Offer high-quality resource teaching for K-8 at an elementary/middle school and K-5 at a different location, all in-person Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure student success Maintain meticulous records and compliance with state/district guidelines Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages growth for all students This assignment offers the opportunity to work with a passionate team of educators and make a true impact in students' lives throughout the school year.
