Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role dedicated to supporting high school students as a Special Education Resource Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on delivering targeted academic instruction and individualized guidance to help students reach their full potential. You'll work on a dynamic school campus, providing both push-in and pull-out resource support.
Key Qualifications:
Current or pending South Carolina certification in Special Education Resource or inclusion experience strongly preferred Strong instructional and collaboration skills Ability to tailor academic and behavioral support for high school learners Experience in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Solid record-keeping and progress monitoring abilities Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
