Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting middle school students as a Resource Special Education Teacher. This contract opportunity, set within a dynamic school environment, begins July 27, 2026, and extends through the end of the academic year. With 37.5 hours per week, you'll play an essential part in guiding students in the middle resource program, helping each one reach their full potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility for certification) Experience in middle school settings and with resource programs preferred Knowledge of IEP processes, implementation, and compliance Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs Passion for collaboration with general education staff, parents, and therapists
Key Responsibilities:
