Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference this school year as a dedicated Resource Special Education Teacher! Work with middle school students in a supportive educational environment, helping them grow and thrive through individualized instruction and encouragement. As a valued member of a dynamic team, you'll be instrumental in guiding students to reach their fullest potential from the start of the academic year through its conclusion. What we're looking for: Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher (SPED) Experience or strong interest in teaching middle school resource students Deep understanding of IEP implementation and compliance Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, parents, and fellow educators Adaptability and creativity in instructional approaches Commitment to fostering inclusion and meeting diverse learning needs Responsibilities include: Delivering specialized instruction to middle school students, ensuring lessons are tailored to unique learning plans Developing, implementing, and tracking IEP goals and progress Collaborating with general education teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success Maintaining accurate records and upholding confidentiality at all times Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment Participating in school meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as required Enjoy the fulfillment of helping students achieve their goals throughout a full school year on a contract basis (37.5 hours per week).
