Responsibilities include:

Providing resource support in reading, math, and core academic subjects to help students reach their full potential Developing and executing individualized instruction, tailored to each student's IEP goals Collaborating with general education teachers in co-teaching and consultation models Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating results effectively Participating in IEP meetings and assisting in necessary documentation for compliance Working closely with both general and special education teams to deliver a cohesive support system Qualifications desired: Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching certification, or eligibility for certification Background or experience in resource or inclusion classroom settings Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators and communicate clearly with families, colleagues, and students Strong instructional skills and a supportive approach to the academic and behavioral needs of middle school students This is a rewarding chance to work in a supportive environment, shaping positive outcomes for students.
