Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Special Education Resource Teacher working with elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, school-based contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing targeted support in both push-in and pull-out academic settings. Key Qualifications:
Valid or pending South Carolina Special Education Teacher certification. Prior experience in a resource or inclusion setting is a plus. Demonstrated ability to deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals. Skilled at collaborating with both general education and special education staff. Strong organizational skills for progress monitoring and record keeping. Committed to supporting elementary-aged students academically and behaviorally.
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering resource support in subjects such as reading, math, and other core areas. Crafting and implementing individualized instruction based on IEP requirements. Providing co-teaching and consultation for students in general classrooms. Regularly monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation. Actively partnering with teachers and team members to ensure student success. Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to compliance documentation.
