This role is ideal for educators experienced in special education who are ready to begin immediately and commit through May 29, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of K-2 students in a self-contained classroom setting. Collaborate with two classroom aides to support the learning and development of eight students. Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum to meet student goals. Maintain classroom management and an inclusive, supportive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration regarding student progress and needs.

Qualifications:

Certified Special Education Teacher credential. Experience working with early elementary students in special education. Ability to manage and support a small classroom with aides effectively. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to on-site, full-time work hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
