Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting middle school students as a Special Education Resource Teacher. This opportunity offers meaningful work with students in a resource setting, focusing on academic and behavioral growth. You'll provide direct instructional support, collaborate with staff, and foster an inclusive environment in a vibrant middle school. The assignment is set to start on July 27, 2026, and will extend to the end of the school year. This full-time role provides 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with middle school-aged students is preferred Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
