Lead Teachers (PK12)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment for young students. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and be skilled in various teaching methodologies. This role requires the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences while promoting their social, emotional, and academic development. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a safe and productive learning environment. Teach core subjects including literacy, math, and physical education, ensuring students grasp fundamental concepts. Incorporate learning technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding. Provide individualized support through tutoring and mentoring for students who require additional assistance. Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Collaborate with special education staff to support students with unique needs, including those on the autism spectrum. Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication skills. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and innovations in teaching. Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior management strategies. Experience A degree in Education or a related field with a focus on Early Childhood Education is preferred. Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, including classroom experience or private school experience. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and early intervention strategies is highly desirable. Skills in proofreading, writing, and literacy education are essential for developing instructional materials. Experience in mentoring or tutoring students is beneficial for providing personalized support. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques will enhance classroom effectiveness. Experience with library services can aid in fostering a love for reading among students.
