Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification, or eligibility for certification Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues Ability to create and adapt lesson plans to diverse learner needs Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for student success
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Provide targeted instruction and interventions tailored to students' unique learning styles Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and support staff regarding student progress and strategies Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment for all learners Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed
