Five full-time, onsite positions are open for passionate educators dedicated to supporting students across a range of needs for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a contract opportunity for those looking to travel and experience a welcoming community, with guidance available for finding local living accommodations. As a valued member of the special education team, you'll be working 40 hours per week in one of the following roles:

• Two Resource Teachers, providing support to students across K-5th grades
• Two Core Replacement Teachers, engaging with K-5th students on essential curriculum modifications
• One Teacher specializing in Moderate to Severe needs within K-5th grades

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification, or eligibility for certification
• Prior experience teaching elementary-aged students in resource, core replacement, or moderate-severe classrooms strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to individualized instruction and inclusive practices
• Enthusiasm for professional growth and a positive, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, effective instruction tailored to each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
• Track progress and maintain thorough documentation related to academic and behavioral goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and school events
• Adapt curriculum and classroom activities to meet a variety of learning needs
