Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle school learners as a Special Education Resource Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. In this full-time, school-based contract role, you'll play a key part in helping students access and succeed in core academic content, working closely with both general and special education teams. Responsibilities include providing individualized instruction in reading, math, and other core subjects through a mix of push-in and pull-out services. You'll collaborate with classroom teachers via co-teaching, consultation, and ongoing communication—ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere for every learner. With a strong focus on IEP-driven instruction, you'll monitor progress, maintain thorough records, participate in compliance activities, and engage in IEP meetings to ensure goals are being met.
