Job Description

Special Needs Child Caregiver Needed
  • Spartanburg, SC (Evening / Overnight Case) From The Heart Home Care is hiring a compassionate, dependable caregiver for a child with special needs in Spartanburg, SC . This is a great opportunity for someone who is patient, attentive, and comfortable providing hands-on personal care and overnight support. Schedule ➡ Swing Shift
  • 15 hours per week ➡ 3rd Shift | 5:00 PM
  • 6:00 AM Consistent weekly scheduling with evening and overnight care needs.
What You'll Do Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal care Provide support with transfers and mobility assistance Assist with locomotion and daily movement needs Provide companionship, supervision, and overnight monitoring Support bedtime routines and morning care Help maintain a safe, calm, and structured environment Assist with light household tasks related to the child's care Client Care Needs Child has developmental and medical support needs Requires assistance with mobility due to muscle weakness and nerve-related challenges Needs a caregiver comfortable with hands-on support and daily routines Requires someone patient and understanding with age-related developmental and hormonal changes What We're Looking For Experience with hands-on personal care
REQUIRED
Experience with children or special needs care strongly preferred Must be dependable and reliable (attendance is critical) Patient, attentive, and nurturing Comfortable working in a home setting Strong communication skills Must have a reliable personal vehicle (REQUIRED
