Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Soliant is hiring a full-time Elementary Resource Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Summerville, South Carolina. This position is a great opportunity for a special education teacher who enjoys supporting elementary students through small-group instruction, individualized academic interventions, and IEP-based services. The Elementary Resource Teacher will work with students who require additional support in reading, math, writing, behavior, and other academic or developmental areas. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, organized, and passionate about helping students build confidence and make meaningful progress.

Contract Responsibilities The Elementary Resource Teacher will provide direct special education services to students in a resource setting. Responsibilities may include managing an IEP caseload, developing and implementing IEP goals, providing small-group and individualized instruction, tracking student progress, supporting accommodations and modifications, collaborating with general education teachers, attending IEP meetings, and maintaining compliance with school, district, and state special education requirements.
