Middle School General Education Teachers Near Turbeville, SC Position Summary We are looking for passionate and driven General Education Teachers to join a vibrant school community near Turbevile, South Carolina. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Instructional Delivery:
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.Data-Driven Practice:
Utilize formative and summative assessments to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.Classroom Management:
Establish and maintain high expectations for student behavior and a safe, respectful classroom culture.Differentiation:
Implement MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) strategies to provide targeted interventions for students.Collaboration:
Actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), faculty meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.Communication:
Maintain open and proactive communication with families regarding student academic and behavioral progress.Required Qualifications Certification:
Valid South Carolina Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one via reciprocity) in the relevant subject area or grade level.Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.Clearances:
Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and TB screening.Skills:
Proficiency in classroom technology (e.g., Google Workspace for Education, Interactive Whiteboards) and a strong understanding of SC College- and Career-Ready Standards. Preferred Attributes Experience working in rural or Title I school settings. Strong commitment to restorative justice practices and social-emotional learning (SEL). Ability to coach or lead extracurricular clubs and activities.Compensation & Perks Salary:
