Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized, individualized instruction that aligns with student IEP goals Adapt curriculum to accommodate a diverse spectrum of abilities and learning styles Implement effective behavior support plans and robust classroom management techniques Work hand-in-hand with general education teachers, related service professionals, and families to ensure coordinated care Maintain thorough documentation and compliance records, tracking student progress Take an active role in IEP meetings, contributing to a unified team approach for student success
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid South Carolina Special Education certification, or eligibility to obtain Prior experience with elementary-aged students is preferred Demonstrated strength in classroom management and adapting teaching strategies Skilled communicator with a team-oriented mindset Work as part of a dedicated educational community, surrounded by professionals who value collaboration and the growth of every learner.
