Essential Qualifications:

Valid South Dakota Special Education K-12 licensure Experience working with junior high or middle school students preferred Proficiency in push-in and pull-out instructional strategies Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for individualized instruction and creating a nurturing classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

Provide engaging and differentiated instruction to students on your caseload, using evidence-based practices Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families Collaborate closely with general education teachers to deliver effective push-in services and modify curriculum as needed Offer targeted pull-out instruction to address specific academic or behavioral objectives Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and adapt plans as required Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student self-advocacy and growth This position offers a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm.
