Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Foster a safe, nurturing environment that prioritizes child welfare, childcare best practices, and classroom safety protocols. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to monitor student progress and communicate developmental milestones. Qualifications Lead teachers are required to have a degree in an education field or be currently enrolled in a college level education degree program. Assistants are not required to have a degree, just experience. Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or school environments. Knowledge of childhood development theories and early intervention methods. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management strategies for diverse learners. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members. Ability to adapt teaching methods for students while maintaining a structured learning environment.
