Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year! Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Hold a valid Tennessee Special Education teaching license with 067 endorsement Previous experience supporting high school-aged students, especially those with diverse learning needs Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable working on a team and adapting to a dynamic environment Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for a caseload of approximately 15 students Adapting curriculum and instructional strategies to meet learners' specific needs Collaborating with school staff, families, and related service providers Maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with school policies and state regulations
