Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that incorporate current scientific research, technology tools, and instructional best practices. Utilize learning technology effectively to enhance classroom instruction and facilitate interactive learning experiences. Assess student progress through standardized testing, project evaluations, and formative assessments; provide constructive feedback to support growth. Manage classroom behavior proactively to create a positive learning environment conducive to active participation and collaboration. Mentor students individually or in groups to foster academic growth, curiosity, and confidence in STEM subjects. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, curriculum development, and school-wide initiatives to promote STEM literacy. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress regularly with parents and guardians. Engage in ongoing professional development related to STEM education trends, instructional design, and classroom management strategies. Participate in school events, science fairs, competitions, and extracurricular activities that promote STEM engagement among students. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Education with a focus on Science or Mathematics; advanced degrees or certifications in specific STEM fields are preferred. Proven experience teaching STEM subjects at the middle or high school level; prior classroom experience is essential. Strong knowledge of core STEM disciplines including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, differential equations, discrete math, and laboratory sciences. Demonstrated ability to develop innovative curricula using instructional design principles and integrate learning technology effectively.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
