Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Nashville, TN, serving elementary students in grades 3-5. This contract position focuses on delivering inclusive education through a push-in/pull-out model, supporting a caseload of approximately 15 students.
Qualifications:
Tennessee Special Education Teaching Certification (TN SPED Teaching Cert) is required. Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in inclusive special education settings.

ASAP (January 5th)
End Date:
May 23, 2026 (End of school year)
Work Schedule:
37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
Caseload:
Approximately 15 students in grades 3-5
Instruction Model:
Combination of push-in and pull-out support to meet students' individualized needs
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned students. Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom environments. Utilize differentiated instruction and adaptive strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Monitor student progress and communicate with families and staff regularly. Maintain accurate records and adhere to all regulatory and school-specific guidelines.
