Aug 1, 2026 Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs. This role ensures compliance with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
  • Provide differentiated instruction in general and specialized curriculum areas
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with federal and state regulations
  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic development
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification through the TEA
  • Knowledge of special education laws, strategies, and accommodations
  • Strong classroom management, collaboration, and communication skills
