Special Education Teacher - Corpus Christi, TX Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Corpus Christi, TX Job Details Full-time | Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Teaching Certification Working with children Special Education Certification Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time assignment offers educators the chance to impact K-12 learners in a supportive environment, with multiple placements available to align with your experience and preferred setting. The academic calendar runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, giving you the satisfaction of guiding students throughout the entire school year. Your expertise will be needed at just one school per assignment, providing continuity and the ability to build meaningful relationships with your students. With over 50 positions to fill, new candidates can select a physical location that suits their lifestyle and commuting needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Texas Department of Education Special Education Certification Must complete fingerprinting for Texas credentialing if not already in system Demonstrated experience supporting students with Autism and managing severe behaviors is highly preferred Passion for working in diverse K-12 settings Ability to adapt and thrive in evolving school environments Strong communication skills and commitment to collaboration
Responsibilities:
