Special Education Teacher (SPED) New School Year Opportunity - Full-time in Corpus Christi, TX Your Impact in Corpus Christi, TX As a Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the new school year in Corpus Christi, TX, you will play a critical role in supporting students with diverse learning needs across a dynamic and growing school community. Your expertise in individualized instruction, IEP development, and inclusive teaching practices will help students build academic skills, confidence, and independence. In this role, you will collaborate with families, general education teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the support they need to succeed. Your passion for special education will create a positive and structured learning environment that fosters both academic and social-emotional growth. Through your work, you will make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of children and families throughout Corpus Christi.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field Active Texas Special Education Teaching Certification Experience working in a school-based SPED setting preferred Ability to meet all state licensure, certification, and background requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and small group instruction aligned with IEP goals Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior support strategies Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting
