With a diverse caseload involving both evaluations and re-evaluations for grades K-12, your role is essential in helping students achieve their full potential. What we're looking for: Hold a valid Texas Educator Certificate Minimum of three years of recognized teaching experience Completed Master's degree Certified as an Educational Diagnostician by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) Proven skills in administering and analyzing educational assessments Excellent communication for collaboration with students, families, and school teams Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads of 85-100 active students Your responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive educational evaluations and re-evaluations Collaborating with educators, families, and administrative staff to develop effective educational plans Preparing detailed evaluation reports and participating in ARD/IEP meetings Ensuring compliance with state and federal special education regulations Providing expert consultation for instructional strategies and interventions Traveling between elementary and secondary sites as needed (schedule determined by campus assignment) You'll benefit from a contract assignment that offers a structured school schedule and the satisfaction of making a tangible impact on students' educational journeys.
