Full Time Position Overview Maintain a clear understanding of the Child Care Management Services (CCS) eligibility process, quality child care guidelines and policy changes. Provide support to families and children by serving as a liaison between families, staff, the community, and other family-related entities and services. Build positive relationships based on mutual trust and rapport with early learning programs, community partners and the CCA team. Promote quality child care to families as well as encourage parental involvement in children's schools and child care facilities. Assist diverse families on the application process for additional services based on the need of the family. Research and develop information packets on family serving agencies, referral processes, and contact information to share as family needs arise. Support the Community Engagement Coordinator in completing timely data reports regarding activities and tasks. Conduct onsite visits to child care facilities participating in the CCS program and provide support with attendance verification and recruitment of new facilities. Facilitate the delivery of services to children and families through collaboration with community partners. Regularly attend meetings and community events with partners. Maintain knowledge of the various programs under CCA umbrella to serve as contact point for families in need. Assist the Community Engagement Coordinator in developing community events calendar and resource packets for the North Central Texas region. Support families who may contact CCA or CCS for one service but receive information about other services through whichever entry point they begin at (no wrong door). Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution AND at least one (1) year of full-time experience in child development, child care programs, customer service, or social work. 3-5 years of experience in a social services role including experience in working with limited income families from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds Possess and maintain the necessary skill level in technology systems and software required to perform job duties. Excellent demonstrated organizational, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, customers, partners and external vendors with professionalism and diplomacy. Must be legally authorized to work in US/TX. Position subject to successful completion of background checks Physical Requirements Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods. Repetitive use of hands for reaching, handling, and turning. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds; includes light lifting of supplies and materials. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to twist, turn, kneel, bend, and stoop as needed
