Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available to support elementary students in an inclusion/resource setting in Elgin, Texas. This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 23, 2026, serving 30-40 students at one school location.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs within an elementary inclusion/resource caseload Collaborate with classroom staff and support personnel to create an inclusive environment Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual educational goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in remote panel interviews and complete onboarding processes, including fingerprinting and contract signingQualifications:
Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification Experience managing an elementary special education caseload of 30-40 students in inclusion/resource settings Ability to work 37.5 hours per week consistently throughout the contract period Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and other support staffLocation & Schedule:
Based in Elgin, Texas, supporting one elementary school Full-time contract with a standard workweek of 37.5 hoursBenefits & Perks:
