Job Description

Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Embark on an exciting opportunity serving as an Educational Diagnostician for a school community near Garland, TX. This full-time contract position begins August 2026 and runs until late May 2027, offering consistent hours and the chance to positively impact elementary students throughout the academic year. As a bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish, you'll play a vital role in supporting diverse learners and their families. Your expertise will contribute to the assessment, identification, and support planning for students with varied educational needs. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families, and will participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to ensure students receive tailored services.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) Certified Educational Diagnostician credentials Previous experience with school-based evaluations and educational assessments Comfort and experience conducting ARD meetings Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with children, families, and colleagues Ability to manage an elementary school caseload with accuracy and compassion Willingness to participate in an onsite interview, with virtual options available if needed In this role, your key responsibilities include: Evaluating and identifying students' educational needs through standardized assessments, record reviews, and input from stakeholders Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with ARD committees Maintaining detailed documentation and timely reporting Providing consultation and recommendations to facilitate student success Collaborating as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team Embrace this full-time opportunity to make a meaningful difference throughout the school year.
