Job Description

Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a bilingual Educational Diagnostician serving an elementary caseload on a full-time contract basis for the upcoming school year. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in students' academic journeys by providing vital diagnostic and assessment services within a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification and experience as an Educational Diagnostician Fluency in English and Spanish Prior experience working with elementary-age students, ideally in a diverse setting Familiarity and comfort with Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to communicate complex information clearly to students, families, and staff Flexibility regarding interview format; onsite preferred, virtual available if necessary
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive educational assessments to identify students' needs and strengths Write thorough, data-driven reports to inform student programming Participate actively in ARD meetings as part of multidisciplinary teams Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to create effective, individualized education plans Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to necessary legal and ethical standards Deliver culturally responsive evaluation and recommendations, leveraging bilingual skills to serve families effectively This assignment spans the 2026-2027 school year, running from August 11 through May 21, with a standard 40 hour work week.
