Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, full-time role as an Educational Diagnostician, where your expertise will support high school students in a vibrant educational setting near Grand Prairie, TX. As part of a dedicated team, you'll make a genuine impact on the lives of students, utilizing your assessment skills, collaborative spirit, and problem-solving abilities to drive meaningful educational outcomes.
Qualifications:
Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician Experience working with high school-aged students (preferred) Familiarity with administering educational and cognitive assessments Strong knowledge of eligibility criteria for special education services Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' learning needs and strengths Interpret evaluation data to inform eligibility decisions and recommend interventions Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, providing insights to guide student support plans Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to implement appropriate accommodations Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to district and state requirements Communicate assessment results and recommendations effectively with families and staff Remain current on best practices and legal requirements in special education This full-time contract position offers you the opportunity to work closely with dedicated educators and positively shape students' educational journeys.
