ACE Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA)
This role provides leadership in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), instructional coaching, data analysis, and the coordination of Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention supports.
QualificationsEducation/ExperienceValid State Teaching Certificate in Texas.
Minimum of three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience with demonstrated student academic growth.
Prior instructional leadership experience preferred (e.g., department chair, grade-level lead, instructional coach).Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Instructional Leadership and PLC Facilitation)Develop and maintain a campus-wide or department-specific PLC calendar aligned to campus and district instructional priorities.
Facilitate PLC meetings focused on data analysis, instructional planning, and continuous improvement.
Guide teams in analyzing formative assessments and student work to ensure alignment, rigor, and consistency.
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of data-driven instructional action plans.
Knowledge/SkillsDemonstrated expertise in effective instructional practices, assessment, and intervention strategies.
Strong data analysis skills, including experience with data systems and dashboard development.
Ability to facilitate adult learning and lead collaborative teams.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships while handling confidential information with discretion.
Experience3 years successful classroom teaching experience with demonstrated student academic growth.
