Job Description

We are in need of a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for a non-profit Level II Trauma Center out in Western Texas. This attractive highly clinical role includes multidisciplinary rounding with the ICU team plus opportunities to precept pharmacy residents and students. Additionally, you can choose between an 8-on/6-off daytime schedule or a traditional Monday-Friday daytime shift. Compensation starts at $57.50/hr for PGY1-trained pharmacists and $59.00/hr. for PGY2-trained pharmacists, with up to $30,000 sign-on bonus and negotiable relocation money as well. Candidates must possess a Texas pharmacist license (or be eligible to obtain prior to starting), a BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree, and either a PGY1 residency or at least three years of relevant critical care hospital clinical experience. PGY2 Critical Care training and board certification are preferred. This position is best suited for a clinically strong, team-oriented pharmacist who enjoys practicing at the top of their license in a collaborative teaching hospital environment.
