What We're Looking For:
Are you a compassionate Educational Diagnostician ready to empower students and schools? Here's what you'll need to join our team:Education:
Master's degree from an accredited university in Special Education or equivalent.Certification:
A current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.Experience:
At least one year as an Educational Diagnostician.Skills:
Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.Language Proficiency:
Bilingual skills required.Your Role:
As an Educational Diagnostician , you'll be instrumental in shaping the educational journey of students by identifying their unique needs and advocating for the resources that enable their success.Your key responsibilities will include:
Conduct Evaluations:
Perform psycho-educational assessments to determine students' eligibility and need for specialized services.Communicate Findings:
Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear and compassionate communication.Develop Interventions:
Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.Support Team:
Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to ensure special education programs meet every student's needs effectively.
