Job Description
Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity shaping educational experiences and supporting student success as a contract Educational Diagnostician for the upcoming school year. This full-time position involves working closely within elementary school environments to conduct comprehensive student evaluations and provide expertise that directly impacts learners' academic journeys. With two openings available, you'll collaborate in a dynamic, supportive team focused on ensuring each child's unique needs are recognized and addressed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certification as an Educational Diagnostician Prior experience performing evaluations in school-based settings, preferably at the elementary level Strong understanding of special education processes, eligibility criteria, and intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Detail-oriented with robust organizational and documentation abilities Adaptability to work within fast-paced educational environmentsKey Responsibilities:
Administer and interpret educational, cognitive, and achievement assessments for students Compile and analyze evaluation results to help determine appropriate educational placements and interventions Prepare comprehensive, timely reports that support ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) committees Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies ensuring student success Monitor student progress and participate in ongoing data review to inform instructional decisions Uphold all local, state, and federal guidelines regarding student assessment and confidentialityWhat You Can Expect:
