Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Certification as an Educational Diagnostician Prior experience performing evaluations in school-based settings, preferably at the elementary level Strong understanding of special education processes, eligibility criteria, and intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Detail-oriented with robust organizational and documentation abilities Adaptability to work within fast-paced educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and interpret educational, cognitive, and achievement assessments for students Compile and analyze evaluation results to help determine appropriate educational placements and interventions Prepare comprehensive, timely reports that support ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) committees Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies ensuring student success Monitor student progress and participate in ongoing data review to inform instructional decisions Uphold all local, state, and federal guidelines regarding student assessment and confidentiality
