Job Description
Header Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a Teacher, where your passion for fostering growth and learning will inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Responsibilities Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across various subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and arts. Adapt instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, or visual impairments. Collaborate with special education teams to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that set personalized goals for students. Utilize learning technology and instructional design principles to enhance classroom engagement and facilitate effective learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavioral management techniques, fostering a safe and inclusive environment conducive to learning. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor student progress and inform instruction. Provide academic advising, tutoring, and mentoring to support students' academic achievement and personal growth. Skills Proven experience in early childhood education, preschool settings, or private schools with classroom management expertise. Strong knowledge of special education practices including speech therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavioral health strategies. Expertise in curriculum development across multiple disciplines such as literacy education, math instruction, music therapy, recreational therapy, and physical education. Familiarity with working with children with disabilities or those requiring early intervention services; experience with IEPs is highly valued. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and specialists; capable of proofreading educational materials for clarity and accuracy. Ability to design engaging lesson plans that incorporate learning technology and instructional design principles to maximize student engagement. Experience in classroom experience with diverse learners including toddlers, preschoolers, or students in Montessori or early intervention programs.
