Qualifications:
Current Utah Special Education (SPED) Certification (required) Experience teaching elementary or PreK students in special education settings Strong understanding of IEP process and development Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Familiarity with differentiated instruction and adaptive learning strategies Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for student-centered teaching
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction for PreK-5th grade students Assess student progress and adjust learning strategies accordingly Work collaboratively with general education teachers, parents, and support personnel Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide progress reports Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages all students to thrive Maintain accurate and confidential student records This contract begins as soon as possible and extends until May 20th, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, total 37.5 hours per week—offering consistency while allowing you to see your students grow throughout the school year.
