Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Music Teacher to join our team. As a School Music Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and help shape their educational journey. If you have a love for working with children and a passion for education, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
  • Implement lesson plans and curriculum standards
  • Provide instruction on beginner piano, guitar, violin and drum.
  • Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other staff
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and our office regarding student progress and any concerns
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Skills:
  • Experience working with children in a daycare, tutoring, or childcare setting
  • Strong behavior management skills to effectively manage classroom dynamics
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
  • Passion for educating and inspiring students to reach their full potential
  • Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
  • Background or interest in theater or performing arts is desirable
