Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a lasting impact in education as a Special Education Teacher, supporting students in grades K-5 and 9-12 on a contract basis. Your expertise will support diverse learners in their academic, social, and emotional development, enhancing their educational journey. Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification with Special Education endorsement Experience working with K-5 and/or 9-12 students, preferably in resource or inclusive settings Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Proficiency with differentiated instruction and evidence-based interventions Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, adapt, and deliver instruction tailored to individualized student needs Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with families, general educators, and related service providers Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings Foster an environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and school staff
