Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, developing engaging lesson plans, and supporting students' academic and social growth. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a love of learning across various subjects and age groups, including early childhood education, special education, and literacy development. The Classroom Teacher will collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with students and parents, and utilize innovative teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs. Duties Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and learning technology. Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, including standardized testing, and adjust instruction accordingly. Provide individualized support and tutoring to students with special needs or those requiring additional assistance, including working with children with autism or in early intervention programs. Incorporate modern educational tools and library services to enhance learning experiences. Develop curriculum materials and activities that promote critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Mentor and support students' social-emotional development while fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment. Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, Montessori methods, or other specialized teaching approaches such as private school or early intervention strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues on school-wide initiatives, curriculum development, and administrative tasks related to education administration. Requirements Proven classroom experience in various educational settings; experience in private schools or Montessori environments is a plus. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques. Skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, proofreading educational materials, and integrating learning technology effectively. Experience working with diverse learners including students with special needs or those requiring early intervention services. Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Ability to work with individuals with autism or other special needs populations is preferred. Demonstrated ability in classroom management, tutoring, standardized testing preparation, and literacy education strategies. Relevant certifications or degrees in Education or Early Childhood Education are required; additional training in writing skills or library services is advantageous.
