Job Description

We are seeking passionate and qualified Special Education Teachers to join our partner schools across Virginia. The ideal candidate will provide specialized instruction, implement IEPs, and support students with mild to moderate disabilities in achieving academic and behavioral success. If you're an educator who believes every student can thrive with the right support, we'd love to have you on our team. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, administrators, and other educators. Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings. Modify and adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet each student's learning needs. Maintain accurate and timely student records, progress reports, and IEP documentation. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff to ensure inclusive learning environments. Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions. Support students in developing self-advocacy, communication, and life skills. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid Virginia teaching license with a Special Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain one). Experience working with students with disabilities (mild/moderate or severe). Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to inclusive education and student growth.
