Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic educational environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere, and supporting the developmental growth of children. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by implementing innovative teaching strategies and collaborating with families and staff to ensure each child's success. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, possesses strong communication skills, and demonstrates a commitment to inclusive learning practices. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to diverse learning needs, including literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Lead classroom activities that promote active learning, creativity, and critical thinking among students. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavioral management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies. Collaborate with special education teams to adapt lessons for students with disabilities or developmental delays, including those with autism or speech therapy needs. Conduct assessments such as standardized testing and progress monitoring to evaluate student development and inform instruction. Maintain detailed records of student progress, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and behavioral health plans. Mentor and support teaching staff or assistants, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement. Skills Proven experience in classroom management within early childhood or special education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and literacy education. Expertise in working with individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and behavioral health considerations. Proficiency in speech therapy techniques, behavioral therapy, and behavior management strategies. Ability to design engaging lesson plans aligned with educational standards and IEP goals. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and external specialists. Familiarity with Montessori or preschool educational approaches is a plus. Experience working in private schools or early intervention programs preferred. Pay:
