Job Description

Company Overview Kiddie Academy has been a leader in education-based child care for over 40 years, serving families with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our programs focus on nurturing a lifelong love of learning through our proprietary Life Essentials curriculum, which supports children's growth and development in a caring environment. Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team and inspire young learners. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes early childhood development. Your expertise will help prepare children for future academic success while ensuring they feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Duties Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a stimulating and nurturing environment for children Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual needs Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement Collaborate with families to support each child's developmental goals and communicate progress regularly Incorporate learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance educational experiences Support children with special needs by adapting activities and working closely with specialists when necessary Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and assessments Qualifications Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool settings Strong knowledge of childhood development, literacy education, math, and physical education Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or in deaf education is preferred Proficiency in classroom management, behavior management, and learning technology tools Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members Certification or training in speech therapy or behavioral health is a plus Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons and adapt activities for diverse learners Join us as a Lead Teacher to make a meaningful impact on young lives!
