Snuggle and Shine Learning Academy Job Overview Snuggle and Shine Learning Academy is seeking a passionate, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Lead Teacher to join our growing in-home early childhood education program. In this role, you will help create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a key role in guiding classroom activities, supporting children's development, and maintaining a safe and positive atmosphere for all children in our care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit, family-oriented childcare setting and values flexibility while making a meaningful impact in children's lives.

5 hours per day, 3 days per week Workdays and hours: Determined based on business needs
Location:
In-home daycare setting Part-time staff must be flexible and available to assist with shift coverage when additional support is needed, including covering employee vacations, absences, or time-off requests. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori-inspired learning methods. Lead classroom activities that promote social-emotional development, creativity, independence, and positive behavior management. Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that supports child welfare and early childhood development. Supervise and collaborate with assistant teachers and childcare staff to ensure quality classroom management and instruction. Maintain documentation of children's developmental progress, assessments, and individualized learning goals when applicable. Communicate professionally and effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's milestones, classroom updates, and concerns. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health standards, and safety procedures related to family daycare operations. Assist with daily classroom routines, meal supervision, transitions, and enrichment activities. Support classroom coverage and staffing needs as required. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in early childhood education, preschool, or daycare settings required. Strong understanding of child development, classroom management, and positive behavior guidance techniques. Experience working with children of diverse learning needs, including early intervention and special education support, preferred. Knowledge of lesson planning, curriculum development, and early childhood assessments. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with toddler care, daycare operations, and child welfare regulations is highly desirable. Must be dependable, flexible, patient, and passionate about working with young children. Pay:
$12.50 - $13.00 per hour
