In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons that promote early childhood education, literacy, math, and social-emotional growth. Your enthusiasm for working with children will help create a positive foundation for their future learning experiences. The ideal candidate is dedicated to supporting childhood development through innovative teaching methods, classroom management, and personalized attention to each child's needs. Duties Develop and execute creative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development for literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active participation among preschool students. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being. Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain an organized learning space conducive to effective teaching and learning. Assess student progress through observations and assessments. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, developmental milestones, and behavioral concerns effectively. Support children's overall welfare by providing guidance on childcare best practices, early intervention strategies, and special education accommodations when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development across various subjects including literacy education, math and physical education. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Ability to manage a classroom efficiently while fostering a warm and supportive environment. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields; additional training in special education or toddler care is a plus.
