Our work environment includes:
Casual work attire Safe work environment We are looking for a Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide specialized instruction to students in ninth through twelfth grade. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students with special needs reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching functional academics, as well as experience working in a special education school or private school setting.
Responsibilities:
Develop MLC individualized education plans (MLPs) for students with special needs. Assess student progress and modify instruction as needed. Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure the best possible educational experience for students. Provide guidance and support to students with special needs. Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students. Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies and procedures. Utilize appropriate instructional strategies to meet the needs of all learners. Integrate technology into the classroom environment.
