Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract A fulfilling opportunity awaits passionate Special Education Teachers who thrive in a supportive educational environment. This contract position offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students at the middle and high school levels in an engaging, collaborative setting. The role runs from August 28, 2026, through June 18, 2027, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours. You'll be welcomed as a valued member of school communities, providing direct in-person special education services, collaborating with teams, and supporting students' academic and developmental success. Whether you're drawn to working at the middle school level or are interested in supporting high school learners, multiple positions are available.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
Current state certification in Special Education (or ability to obtain before start date) Previous experience in school-based special education settings Understanding of best practices for IEP implementation, case management, and differentiated instruction Strong ability to build relationships with students, families, and colleagues Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Responsibilities:
