Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract A great school in the Bennington, VT, area is now looking to hire a Special Education Teacher for a full-time opening for next school year. Previous teaching experience is desired for this school-based job. The director is ready to review resumes and interview candidates, so please apply today for immediate consideration! Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and collaborate on assessments to aid overall academic development, and use the results to design and deliver individualized special education instruction and supports.
  •  Design and implement individualized instructional strategies to support each student's needs in communication, language development, speech clarity, and social interaction skills.   • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to implement services.
  • Work in a K-12 school setting with different age groups.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in schools is preferred.
Education:

Employment Type:
Full-time, Contract Work Hours:
