Open Assignments:
Elementary Autism Self-Contained Class (K-5): Up to 6 students Middle School Therapeutic Classroom (Grades 6-8): Caseload up to 10 students, trauma-informed background needed High School Therapeutic Classroom (Grades 9-12): Caseload up to 12 students, trauma-informed background necessary
Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education licensure (state eligibility required) Experience in self-contained or autism-focused classrooms preferred Demonstrated expertise working with students affected by trauma, especially for middle and high school roles Adaptability for travel assignments
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff Monitor and report on student growth and progress Support students' emotional and behavioral needs
