Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state Special Education teaching certification that meets all local requirements for the position Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in an educational setting Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication skills to collaborate with fellow staff, families, and support personnel Willingness to work exclusively on-site throughout the school year
Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted special education instruction and services to assigned students, ensuring progress toward IEP goals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers and specialists Conduct student assessments, collect data, and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring Develop and implement effective instructional strategies, accommodations, and modifications Engage in regular communication with families regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with local and federal guidelines This full-time schedule spans the academic year from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027, supporting students and teams Monday through Friday. The specific caseload and responsibilities will be tailored during interviews to best align your strengths and meet student needs.
