Home Job Info Teaching Role Description/Criteria Emmaus College is a proudly Catholic co-educational College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, established in 1980. The College operates over multiple campuses, at Vermont South, Vermont and Burwood. A Senior Campus for Years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 in Vermont South, a Junior Campus for K to Year 6 in Vermont South (1.8km from the Senior Campus) and a Year 9 Campus in Vermont (1.4km from the Senior Campus) and a VET Campus in Burwood. VET Electrotechnology Teacher The College is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and suitably qualified VET Electrotechnology Teacher commencing in Term 1, 2027. Applications are welcomed from individuals with a passion for vocational education and training and a commitment to preparing young people for employment, apprenticeships and further study within the Electrotechnology industry. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering and assessing VET Electrotechnology qualifications through the VET Delivered to School Students (VETDSS) program. This includes providing practical and industry-relevant instruction in electrical theory, circuits, wiring and cabling, testing and fault finding, soldering, workplace communication, electrical safety, and the use of industry-standard tools and equipment. The successful applicant will maintain compliance with VRQA, VETDSS and Standards for RTOs (2025) requirements while supporting high-quality student outcomes. The successful applicant will work minimum one day per week (FTE 0.20) in an ongoing capacity. The successful applicant will be committed to the ethos of a Catholic school.
